Arizona Traditions is a gated 55+ active adult community in Surprise, Arizona. The community consists of 1,768 single-family homes across two neighborhoods — Arizona Traditions and The Retreat. Homes range from compact, low-maintenance designs to larger homes with premium lots on the golf course, and home sizes typically range from approximately 1,100 to over 2,500 square feet.
All homes are subject to HOA CC&Rs and age restrictions — at least one resident per household must be 55 or older, and no permanent residents under the age of 18 are permitted.

Arizona Traditions is a gated community, which means all visitors — including prospective buyers — must check in at the staffed guardhouse. Real estate agents showing homes within the community will coordinate entry for their clients.
If you are attending an open house, the listing agent will have made arrangements with the guardhouse. If you are arriving with your own agent for a private showing, your agent should notify the seller's agent in advance to ensure smooth entry.
