Arizona Traditions has dozens of clubs and interest groups to satisfy any active lifestyle. Whether you want to learn something new, sharpen your skills, or simply have fun with great people — there is a place for you here.

Arts & Crafts

AZT Needlecrafters

A knitting and crochet group that makes baby blankets for Del Webb Hospital and stuffed animals for the Surprise Police Department. All are welcome, and yarn donations are appreciated.

Ceramics

Classes covering chip glazing, card making, painting with feathers, and more creative techniques.

Crafting With Friends

Quilts, knitting, diamond art, and coloring books. All crafters and skill levels welcome.

Drawing & Painting · Glass Art · Pottery · Woodshop

Studio spaces throughout the Community Center support a wide range of artistic pursuits. Glass Arts requires an initial training class; Pottery provides clay, glaze, tools, and hands-on assistance for new members.

Quilters of Love

A charity quilting group creating quilts for community organizations. AZT residents and non-residents with quilting skills are invited to join.

Scrapbooking

A creative group for preserving memories and learning new scrapbooking techniques together.

Aerobics & Dance Fitness

Multiple weekly fitness classes including low-impact aerobics, dance cardio, and stretch classes for all levels.

AZT Strikers — Bocce Ball

An active bocce ball club with regular games, social events, and a welcoming atmosphere for new players.

Billiards

A billiards club for friendly competition and casual play in the Community Center's game room.

Golf

The community's 18-hole Par 70 course winds through the neighborhood. Golf clubs, clinics, and leagues organized through the Pro Shop.

Horseshoes

Dedicated horseshoe pits and a regular group for both casual and competitive play.

Pickleball

One of the fastest-growing sports at AZT — multiple courts, drop-in play, organized round robins, and leagues for all skill levels.

Shuffleboard

An active shuffleboard club with weekly games and a social atmosphere perfect for friendly competition.

Softball

Organized softball leagues on the community field, open to residents who want to play ball and enjoy the outdoors.

Swimming & Water Aerobics

Lap swimming, recreational swimming, and water aerobics classes available at the community pools.

Tennis

Tennis courts available for recreational play and organized club matches. All skill levels welcome.

Book Club

A monthly book discussion group open to all readers — fiction, nonfiction, and everything in between.

Bridge

Regular bridge games for all skill levels, from beginners learning the game to experienced players.

Bunco

A lively dice game group that meets regularly for fun, laughter, and good company.

Garden Club

For residents who love plants, landscaping, and outdoor beauty. Tours, tips, and community projects.

Mahjong

Weekly mahjong sessions for both beginners and experienced players. Instruction available for newcomers.

Writers Group
